We’ve been working hard to make Host Building better! Here’s the new and improved features, integration updates and resolved bugs you’ll find in this release.

What’s new

Spaces Webhook

When an app user books a space we can now optionally trigger a webhook to a 3rd party. The webhook can send the space ID, space name, start and end time of booking, attendees, status and much more. 

Space reports

With the recent addition of payment rates to spaces, the spaces reports had to be updated to accommodate. A message has been added to the report export screen advising for bookings made prior to August 2022 the ‘Booking Interval’ and ‘Cost per Interval’ data on this report are approximations based on the users total booking cost and booking duration. Bookings on or after late August 2022 are accurate. 

Thai language now supported

Thai translations will be added to all apps from V1.66. If you would like to request Thai translation, please contact the Host Building team. 

Braxos- Link your account within Host Building app

App users can now link their account within the Host Building app by entering their email profile linking code.

UI Updates 

• News Redesign
  We’ve begun a redesign on news and the following updates have been made with more to come next release. 
  • News list view images have been updated to a 3:2 ratio. 
  • The news heading no longer overlays the image and has been moved to below the image. 
  • When there is a video for the news article, the playback icon is in the bottom left-hand corner.
    
• News Homepage Carousel Redesign
  As part of the News updates, the News Homepage Carousel has also been updated. This change has been made to make it more appealing and create more interest in reading the content piece. The size of the image has been changed to a 3:2 ratio and the title of the article no longer overlays the image and instead appears beside or below the image depending how many articles there are. A view all button has been added to the right of the carousel title to enable a new entry point to all features for the app user. These changes ensure a consistent experience between the News carousel and the News List view.
  
  
• One image to display for each space
  The multiple images chevron has been removed for spaces so that only one image can appear each space, which applies to current and future spaces. This is a temporary change. 
• Title and Content moved on Concierge/Services screen
  The concierge title and content has been taken out of the content box that sat over the hero image and placed below the image on the concierge page. As the service summary text is no longer restricted to the box, there is now no character limit for iOS.

• Filter icon updated to universal design
  The filter icon has been updated in the news, spaces and events features to a more universally known icon.

• Button updates for vendor screens
  • Within the Order History screen, the ‘View Receipt’ and ‘Cancel Order’ buttons have been changed to stack on top of each other rather than appear side by side to allow additional space for other languages.
    
    
  • The ‘No Tip’ button has been changed to ‘0%’ to avoid issues translating to other languages.
    
  • If a vendor has discounts enabled, the ‘Add’ button has been updated to support various translations of the word ‘Add’ and it will increase and decrease in size depending on the length of the word.
    

My profile select location added

For client managers and enterprise tenant app users that have access to more than one building in multiple locations, a select location dropdown has been added to the change building accordion.This select location dropdown has the same functionality as the select location dropdown on the registration screen. 

Loan services QR code hidden for completed requests

Currently all loan services in the My Requests screen show a ‘View QR Code’ button regardless of the loan status. Now, once a loan service has been marked as ‘Complete’ by admin, then the ‘View QR Code’ button will be hidden to avoid app users accidentally opening the wrong QR code for a request. 

Client Data Keys

To improve security, client data keys can now be scoped to a building as well as functionality.

Refined translation files [Android]

Translation files were refined for Android to improve translation accuracy.

Resolved bugs

App

• Openpath needing multiple scan attempts before reader reacts and grants access.
• Service subscription choices not showing and app users unable to submit a service request.
• Users on iOS not receiving push notifications.
• The button on the last step of the registration process uses the wrong colours. [Android only]
• Service requests in the My Requests screen showing as being created 10 hours in the future. [iOS only]

• Service subscription payment going to the account linked to the service not the subscription.
