What’s new 

Pull to Refresh

Pull down to refresh has been implemented across events, spaces and services for iOS and in spaces for Android. 

Cookies persistent for webviews

Webviews opened in the app retain the session state to ensure all cookies are persistent until the account is erased/deleted or the app user changes buildings. 

What’s improved 

UI/UX Updates

• Events subheading removed
  The subheading from the image overlay has been removed in the event info screen as it is repeated in the body of the event information below. 
• Events now support a short and long description
  In the events list view the ‘list view description’ shows, and when clicked into the event the ‘content card description’ shows.
  
  
• QR scanner view navigation bar updated [iOS only]
  The navigation bar within the QR scanner view now expands to allow for translated text to other languages. 
• Spaces booking messages pull from backend
  When booking a space, any message shown to the app user is now pulling through from the backend, rather than being generated by the frontend, ensuring a consistent experience across iOS and Android. 
• Release notifications for test app users
  Test app users will no longer receive release push notifications.

JWT

• Branding added to JWT options
  A primary and secondary color can now be included in the JWT. The two colors are pulled from the buildings branding. 
• Building latitude and longitude added to JWT
  A building’s latitude and longitude can now be optionally added to the JWT. 

Admin Portal

• Improved image field names
  For Instance Admins, the ‘Branding’ image field name has been renamed so it is easier to understand where the image will be used.
  
  
• Admin updated to Instance Admin
  The role type ‘Admin’ has been renamed to ‘Instance Admin’ throughout the portal for clarity. 
• Character Limit on Event List View Description Removed
  In a recent release, a character limit was added to the List View Description for Events. This has now been removed to ensure users can add desired content. 
• View Vendor modal size increased in size
  The view vendor modal has been increased in size for easier use
  
• Services and Offers now support WYIWYG
  Services summary and description fields and Offers description and terms and conditions now support the use of bold, italics, underlined, dot point and linked text, as well as the ability to paste pre-formatted text into the fields.
  
• Update of Data report name for client admins
  The name of the ‘Bookings’ report in the Data section in the client admin portal has been updated to ‘Event Bookings’ make it clearer what data this report shows. 

Integration updates

• When a mobile access integration is used by an app user, backend are now advised which mobile access integration is being used. 
• HID device setup failed error added to HID error log.
• Remove support for Proxy integration.

Resolved bugs

App

• Services with a custom field show a ‘Couldn’t handle request’ when app user tries to submit the service request with custom fields filled in.
• When a tenancy pin has been configured, new app users attempting to register to the app are receiving an error message "You are already registered to use the app on another device. Please re-register on this device to continue to use the app".
• App users opening the ‘noticeboard’ from the menu are seeing an API error appear. When the error is dismissed, the noticeboard screen is blank. [iOS only]
• Openpath Bluetooth crash on Android 12.
• Homepage News carousel continuing to display news articles past its display end date.
• Unregistered OpenPath users can see nearby doors. [iOS only]
• Services with custom fields that allow for a quantity selection with a cost associated, the displayed price is doubled for the app user. [iOS only]
• When booking a space which requires approval with a non SCA credit card, approval emails are not being sent.
• When a Space is paid, requires approval and is paid by the app user with a SCA credit card, the app user is seeing the booking confirmed message rather than the pending approval message. [iOS only]
• On event booking screen, when view my event bookings button is clicked, it takes the user back to the events list view, rather than their even bookings. [iOS only]
• On V1.63, when using a webview with a single sign on flow, if the user leaves the app and comes back, the page reloads and the user has to restart login process. [Android only]
• App menu doesn’t show on load when enabled in Admin Portal to show on load. [Android only]
• If the app user enters the wrong password for an event QR code, the error message received is incorrect.
• Spaces calendar missing the first day of each month for US buildings. 
• News images not showing multiple images chevron when there is more than one image. [iOS only]
• App crashing on Android when tapping submit for a Pulse or Angus TSR, then immediately clicking another button while the request is still loading.
• CSAT not enabled by default. [iOS only]

Admin portal

• New backend brand URLs not loading and are showing an error.
• Building, Service and Space admins unable to raise adhoc service desk invoice.
• New Polls created only shows the translate button for the first two poll responses.
• News WYSIWYG displaying HTML tags when viewing content.
• News & Comms external link label name model hangs on loading and user has to refresh the browser to clear it.
• Space booking email notifications not being received when more than one email is entered into the ‘Send Booking Notifications to Email Addresses’.
• Tenant admin unable to send a push notification and unable to select tenant created content to link to in the push notification.
