We’ve been working hard to make Host Building better! Here’s the new and improved features, integration updates and resolved bugs you’ll find in this release.

What’s new 

Deeplink directly to additional features

Deeplinks can now be created to link directly to more features such as Openpath, feedback, MyQR code and ID cube. 

What’s improved

Elogbooks service request status now shows in app

Once a user submits a request through the tenant service request through to ELogbooks, they will be able to see the status of that request as it progresses through the system in the app.  

News UI/UX Improvements

The redesign of news continues this release with the following UI/UX improvements made. 

• Skeleton loading has been implemented for the news list view screen in order to create a basic outline of the screen format while it loads.
• A news article screen has been created so that when the app user clicks ‘Read more’ the news article will now open into a full screen view on a new page.

Improved spaces booking cut-off notification

Spaces with a booking cut-off period of longer than 24 hours now notifies the app user at date selection rather than the confirmation screen if they attempt to book the space within the cut-off period. 

Integration updates

• Update to Android 13
• Update HID Origo SDK to V1.8.6
• Openpath now showing error message when Openpath detects bluetooth is disabled. [iOS only]

Resolved bugs

App

• Guest Access button appears behind navigation bar when app is newly installed on an older device running Android 9.
• App crashing when making a spaces booking through the spaces calendar for September 2023. [iOS only]
• Scan QR code camera permission dialog box bolding the incorrect words when translated to another language.
• App gets stuck on registration after denying notification permission multiple times. [Android only]
• App crashing when user taps My Bookings before on events list view before it fully loads. [iOS only]
• When My Profile or Spaces feature is configured on the app footer nav bar and a user taps and opens the tile from there, the tile name is missing from the header. [iOS only]
• When scanning into an event the users registration is successful however it shows the EventID# on the header instead of the Event Name. [iOS only]
• Extra white space showing at the bottom of Services content in both list and detailed views. [iOS only]
• Custom menu tile names not appearing on Android.
