How to add multiple payment rates to a space

Adding multiple payment rates to a space allows you to charge different rates for different booking periods. You can add multiple payment rates to a new or existing space. Payment rates can be more or less than the base rate.

For example, the space is open for 8 hours a day and you charge a base rate of $10/hour. If you want to give a discount to those who book the space for the full 8 hours, you could add in another rate that charges $5/hour if the space is booked for the full 8 hours.

Note, app users must be using V1.65 or higher to see the rate card that displays the payment rates. If the app user is not using V1.65 or higher they will only see the base rate for a space, however on the space booking screen the price will be calculated against the appropriate payment rate.

Steps

1. From the left-hand side menu, click Spaces > Available Spaces.
2. On the Available Spaces screen, either navigate to the top right corner and click Actions > New Space to add a new space or navigate to the space you want to add multiple payment rates to and on the far right of the space click Actions > Edit Space.
   
3. Once within the new space or edit space form, navigate to the Rates section and click on the Add Another Rate button. This will add a new rate tier in addition to the existing base rate already entered above.
   
4. To edit the new tier, click the down arrow on the right-hand side. Enter a rate name, a minimum booking duration (how long they have to book the space for to get this price) and a cost per interval.
   
5. Click Save. Your additional rate should now show in the app.
