Adding a space booking within the admin portal
This feature allows you to book a space on behalf of an app user, who is registered to the same building/s as the admin portal user, directly in the admin portal rather than the app user booking through the app. It will also allow you to enter a booking outside of the set opening days and times.
Steps
- From the left-hand side menu, click Spaces > Available Spaces.
- On the Available Spaces screen, navigate to the space you want to book and click Actions > Add booking.
- Complete the mandatory fields (denoted with a *) and any other fields within the add booking form. See the field description list below for more information on the fields.
- Click Save.
- The app user will then receive a confirmation email and the booking will appear on the app user’s Spaces My Bookings screen.
Add booking form field descriptions
- App user’s email address – the email address the app user used to register to the app.
- Date – date of space booking.
- Time start – start time of space booking.
- Time end – end time of space booking.
- Send invoice to user – unticked an invoice won’t go to the app user, ticked an invoice will go to the app user via email. When ticked, the invoice amount will show underneath, which is automatically calculated based on the rate for the booking period and can be overridden by entering a new amount.
