How to create a space discount

Space discounts

Creating a discount for a space is a two-step process, first the discount has to be created and then the discount has to be added to the space. Discounts can apply to all spaces or particular spaces.

Note, once a discount code has been used by an app user it can no longer be edited in the admin portal.

Steps

1. From the left-hand side menu, click Spaces > Discounts.
2. On the Discount screen in the top right corner, select Actions > New Discount.
   
3. Complete the mandatory fields (denoted with a *) and any other fields within the discount creation form with the information you would like to display. See the field description list for more information on the fields.
   
4. Click Save.
5. On the Discounts page the discount will automatically be Active. Using the toggle, you can activate or deactivate the discount. Under For Spaces, this will be blank until the discount is applied to a space, which is explained in steps 6-10.
6. From the left-hand side menu, click Spaces > Available Spaces.
7. On the Available Spaces screen, navigate to the space you want to add a discount to and click Actions > Space Discounts.
8. On the Space Discounts modal, enable discounts for the space by clicking Yes. Once discounts are enabled, select the discount you wish to apply to the space.
   
9. Click Save. The discount should now appear against the space in the app and is available for all app users who are able to book the space. To target the discount to particular groups, see How to use Group Targeting (article coming soon).
