Blast notification
Blast notifications enable you to send communications via the app to all tenants or a group of tenants.
Blast notifications can be sent out by a building or client admin.
Steps
- From the top menu, select the bell icon.
- Complete the fields within the send notification form with the information you would like to send out and who to. See the field description list below for more information on the fields.
- Click Send Now. Your notification will be sent out immediately, however delivery can be delayed based on network capacity. App users must have notifications turned on for the app within their device settings in order to receive the notification.
Send notification form field descriptions
- To – Choose whether you want to send an email to a particular tenant or floor of the building. To communicate to all app users regardless of tenant or floor, select tenant. When a specific floor is selected will send the email to all tenants that have that floor entered as their floor.
- Devices – To only email an iOS or Android user, select the device type, otherwise select all to contact all app users regardless of device type.
- Target Access Roles – Select the app user access role/s you would like to send the email to, if you want to send the email to all app users, don’t make a selection.
- Target Tenant – To send the email to all app users, select All Tenants, otherwise select the tenant or floor you would like to send the email to.
- Target Group – If there a particular user group you want to send, select the user group from the drop down, otherwise leave blank to send to all app users.
- Only send push notifications to users who have accepted the privacy policy - tick to only send to users who have accepted the privacy policy
- Only send push notifications to user who have agreed to receive marketing updates - tick to only send to users who have accepted marketing updates.
- Push Notification Text – The message you want to communicate.
- Link To – Include a link in the notification to a particular section of the app.
