How to delete a product category

Deleting a product category

Deleting a product category will delete any menu items/product created under the category. Once a product category is deleted it will no longer appear in the admin portal or in the app.

If you would like to remove a product category from display but not delete it or the menu items/products associated with it, you can simply hide the product category from view, see the tip in how to create product categories.

Steps

1. From the left-hand side menu in vendor admin, select Product Categories.
2. On the Product Categories screen, navigate to the category you want to delete and click Actions > Delete.
   
3. A warning modal will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the notice, click Proceed.
   
4. The product category is now deleted.
