Menu items/products
Menu items/products are what the vendor sells. Before creating menu items/products, ensure you have created product categories, see how to create product categories, and if the product is only available at particular times of the day, ensure you have created meal times, see how to set up and manage vendor meal times.
These steps are to create the base product, product options or customizations that the app user can make or add to the product can be added after creating the product, see how to create a product option.
Steps
- From the left-hand side menu in vendor admin, select Menu then select the category you would like to add a menu item/product to.
- On the category’s page in the top right-hand corner click Actions > New Product
- Complete the fields within the new product creation form with the information you would like to display. See the field description list for more information on the fields.
- Click Save. The menu item/product will show on the category screen. To add product options, see how to create a product option.
Tip
On the category’s page, use the sold-out toggle to easily show a product as sold out in the app.
