Vendors
A vendor can be any business within the building that wishes to sell products to an app user via the app.
Vendors can be created by building and client admins.
Note, vendors are automatically hidden from showing in the app so that they are not visible to the app user until they are ready to begin selling products, see how to hide/unhide vendors.
Steps
- From the left-hand side menu in building or client admin, select My Building> Building.
- On the Building screen, navigate to the building you want to add a vendor to and click Vendors > Create New Vendor.
- Complete the fields within the vendor creation form with the information you would like to display and how you would like the vendor to function. See the field description list for more information on the fields.
- Click Save. The vendor has been created and the vendor’s account now needs to be enabled, see how to enable an account (article coming soon). Once the vendor account has been enabled, the vendor can login to set up the products they wish to sell within the app, see how to create product categories and how to create menu items/products. Once the vendor is completely set up and ready to sell via the app, see how to hide/unhide a vendor. If the vendor should only be available to particular groups, see how to apply group targeting.
