We’ve been working hard to make Host Building better! Here’s the new and improved features, integration updates and resolved bugs you’ll find in this release.
What’s improved
- Show cancelled and existing subscriptions in My Profile
Under subscriptions in My Profile, will now show cancelled subscriptions. Cancelled subscriptions will be labelled as ‘cancelled’ to clearly differentiate from active subscriptions. Both active and cancelled subscriptions can be viewed for additional details. -
Improved menu tile layout on iOS
Design improvements have been made to the iOS menu layout when 3,4 7, 8 or 9 menu tiles are configured, and empty spaces have been removed. This change aligns iOS to Android.

Skeleton loader added to list views on Android
A skeleton loader has been enabled for each list view screen on Android.

Client admins can manage SSO
If SSO has been enabled by Host, client admins now have the ability to enable or disable SSO for individual accounts within their control. -
Reregistering now updates app users original account with new details
Reregistering to the app with a new name and/or phone number now updates the app user’s original account. -
TSR step count updated
As a follow-on from removing the ability to upload images, the UI has been updated to show which step of the process the app user is on. -
Button type case and letter spacing improved
Updates to buttons on noticeboard, space, offer, event, and service list view screens have been made to ensure that consistent stylesheet values are applied. - Saving a test credit card error message
An app user will now receive an error message when trying to save a testing card in the production environment. - Additional CBRE domains added to SSO
The @cbre.fr and @cbre.com.sg will now need to use SSO to login to the admin portal. -
Improve consistency of image overlays on content view images [iOS only]
The color and opacity used for the gradient that appears along the bottom of images on content view screens is now consistent across all features on iOS, Android was updated last release.
Resolved bugs
App
- US app users experiencing a connection error and unable to progress past try again with only fix to delete and reinstall app. [iOS only]
- When configuring a service, if you create x2 capture fields of Upload Image and one is marked as "Field Required" iOS is treating both Upload Image fields as required causing users to experience an error on submission. [iOS only]
- Currently in some circumstances the app will allow rotation in orientation when it's not meant to causing the layout to break. [iOS only]
- In the news listing view, when only one piece of content set to display, the read more button is showing ‘minimize’ instead of the right ‘read more’. [iOS only]
- On the policy modal screen, when a user clicks the Save or Cancel button, a loading indicator should appear in the center of the modal. However, the loading indicator is appearing below the buttons instead. [Android only]
Admin portal
- News read data not being accurately reported on.
- All accounts in building being notified of a new tenant registration if account flag is turned on causing tenant admins to receive app user registration notifications for other tenancies.
- Vendor Admin and POS users reporting an error message appearing on their POS app advising they are using the wrong end-point when they are using the correct and latest app version.
- When a suppressed news tile has been created and there is only 1 article populated into this category, app users are unable to open the article and consume the content.
- New app user registration notifications not being received by Client, Building or Space admins even though notifications are enabled.
- When editing an event, the translation description field is not showing the character limit.
- Customizations to the Service Request email template were missing the key word replacement for tenant name in the subject line of emails.
- App_user_log table showing records which do not contain the building ID.
