News articles
News articles are designed to display content for a restricted period of time. News articles can be written and published in advance of the required display period for the convenience of 'set and forget'. You can also share news articles across multiple buildings and across the client portfolio with only a click of a button.
Steps
- From the left-hand side menu in building or client admin, select News & Comms > Building Owned.
- On the Building Owned News and Comms screen in the top right corner, click Actions > New Content Piece.
- Complete the fields within the new content piece form with the information you would like to display. See the field description list for more information on the fields.
- Click Save. Your article will appear on the building owned news and comms screen flagged as not published. To add an image, see how to add an image to a news article. If the news article should only be available to particular groups, see how to apply group targeting. If you need to direct app users to an external link from within the article, see how to add an external link, and the external link button will show on both the news list view and full news article screens. Once you have added an image, an external link (if required) and applied group targeting (if required), see how to publish/unpublish a news article.
