How to publish/unpublish a news article

Publishing a news article

News articles will only appear in the app during the time period specified once the news article has been published.

News articles can be published to a single building or multiple buildings by choosing an audience. When that article is unpublished, it will be unpublished from all buildings in your chosen audience.     

Steps to publish a news article

1. From the left-hand side menu in building or client admin, select News & Comms > Building Owned.
2. On the Building Owned News and Comms screen, navigate to the news article you want to publish and on the far right click Options > Publish.
   
3. In the publishing modal, select what audience to publish the article to, and if it applies, select the alliance.
   
4. Click Publish. Your article will appear on the building owned news and comms screen flagged as published.
   
   

Steps to unpublish a news article

1. From the left-hand side menu in building or client admin, select News & Comms > Building Owned.
2. On the Building Owned News and Comms screen, navigate to the news article you want to unpublish and on the far right click Options > Unpublish.
   
3. A warning modal will appear asking if you are sure you want to unpublish the news article, click Proceed.
   
4. Your news article is now unpublished from all the buildings it was published to and will no longer appear in the app. Your article will appear on the building owned news and comms screen flagged as not published.
