Editing building information
Buildings are created by Host and can only be edited.
Client and building admin can edit building information.
Edit building is also where you can edit the app footer menu style which shows to all the building app users. By default, the footer menu will have four tabs. The footer menu can have four or two tabs for general app users and three tabs for concierge app users. When set to two icons, these are always set to Home and Menu. When set to four icons the left most icon is always Home, the right most icon always menu with the middle two icons able to be configured. Please speak to the Host team if you would like to change icons that appear in the footer.
Steps
- From the left-hand side menu in building admin, select My Building > Building, in client admin select Building > List Buildings.
- On the Building screen, navigate to the building you want to edit and click Actions > Edit Building.
- Make required edits in the Edit Building form. See the field description list below for more information on the fields.
- Click Save.
Form field descriptions
- Building Name (required*) - name of the building
- Address & Country/State/City/Postcode - building address
- Default language – the default language of the app. It will automatically use the client’s default language.
- Building time zone – time zone of the building’s location
- Geo. Lat. – the latitude of the building location
- Geo. Lon. – the longitude of the building location
- Square footage – the square footage of the building
- App footer menu style – this controls the footer menu style to either show 4 or 2 icons. By default, the app footer menu style will be set to 4.
- Launch menu on app load – select yes if you would like to show the menu on app load. If no is selected, the homepage will show on app load.
- PIN enabled – Request the user to enter a pin when registering for the app. The tenancy will have to tell app users the pin to enter.
- User group filter type – Determines whether an app user has to be in all user groups or particular user groups to view the content.
