Service Scanner
Anyone can access the service scanner via My Profile, or for some clients via a menu tile.
The service scanner is used to manage checking out and returning loan services.
Steps
- Open the app.
- From the bottom menu, click Profile.
- On the Profile screen, click My QR Code to launch the scanner screen and select Service Scanner button underneath the QR Code.
- On the Service screen, enter the service password and click submit. To obtain the password for the service, see the Tip on how to create a service.
- The app will then activate your camera within the app (approval must be granted for the app to use your camera) to scan the app user’s QR code for the loan service. App users can access their QR Code by clicking Services > My Requests > My QR Code on the loan service.
- Scan the app users QR code for the loan service and loan service details will appear. Click Check out to confirm the item has been checked out. The status will then change to Loan Request Check Out.
- When the user returns the item, re-scan the QR code. The Return Loaned Service status will show, click Return. The status will then change to Loan Service Request Complete.
