What’s new

New data extracts in preparation for migration to VTS

We’ve created new data extracts that will allow clients to better leverage their historic Host data as they transition to VTS.  These extracts will be provided to clients by the digital team at the time of transition to VTS and will contain information from each section in the admin portal. The new extracts created this release were:

• Space Bookings
• Event Attendees

New client data API report

A new report has been included in the client data API: Tenant information.

What’s improved

Stock images

When no image is set against an individual piece of content, the stock image that is displayed is now unique to each feature. This stock image is shown on the homepage, list view and details for that piece of content and is replaced once an admin upload an image of their choosing.

Default footer icons

When no app footer icons have been chosen for an app, the fallback icons for the footer have been updated to provide a consistent design.

Policy consent statements

The character count for the policy consent statement presented to app users on registration has been increased to 330 characters.

Android 14

Support for the latest Google operating system, Android 14.

Registration supports CJK characters

Android app users are now able to use Chinese, Japanese or Korean characters when entering their first and last name as part of the registration process. This brings the Android experience in line with iOS.

Offers PIN

On Android, the offers PIN text colour now reference the style sheet text colour.

Integration update

• Update Gallagher SDK to version 16.

Resolved bugs

App

• On the home page event image, the descriptive pill that sits over the image doesn’t respect image margin [Android only]
• When a single offer is visible on the Offers carousel, the clock icon does not show to the left of the expiry date [Android only]  
• Spaces discount is not always reflecting the actual discount amount in the list view [Android only]
• On the app footer, highlight tab is not clearing on My Profile or after leaving events. [iOS only]
• When a user successfully booked an event and taped on the "View My Events Bookings" button from the event booking successful page, the bottom bar under the tab is showing All Events instead of My Bookings.
• Homepage event carousel is showing incorrect session dates when late registration is allowed.

Admin portal

• When client admins were trying to run their Policy Acceptance History data, the export was timing out and failing
• When app users update their profile image, the image is being orphaned rather than deleted.
