We’ve been working hard to make Host Building better! Here’s the new and improved features, integration updates and resolved bugs you’ll find in this release.
What’s new
We’ve created new data extracts that will allow clients to better leverage their historic Host data as they transition to VTS. These extracts will be provided to clients by the digital team at the time of transition to VTS and will contain information from each section in the admin portal. The new extracts created this release were:
- Noticeboard
- Document library
- Event discount
To make these extract more accessible and quicker to acquire, they have now been made accessible to SuperAdmin on the portal. This will be extended to Client admin in an upcoming release.
What's improved
- Now on the Services list view screen, pagination has been removed, meaning that if over 100 services are listed, the screen will continue to scroll and display all additional services, without needing to load a new screen. This means all Services can be ordered at a Building or Client level.
- An update has been made to all public policy URLs so that they are non-iterable going forward, enhancing the security of our URLs.
- An update to the Client Admin portal has been made to add the ‘Account’ report under the ‘Data’ tab. This report will include all relevant ID information related to admin account roles for any singular client.
- When changing the password of an account, the current and new password fields are now shown directly next to each other, to ensure the user can update passwords conveniently when required.
-
Offers that require a PIN entry to complete redemption, will now limit app users to only 5 incorrect entries per minute. If that limit of 5 is exceeded, then the app user will be locked out of attempting again for a 5-minute period.
Resolved Bugs
Admin
- For Events, Spaces & Services, where content had a custom field allowing admins to ‘upload image’, the image is now correctly displaying when Portal Admins attempt to view said image.
- Going forward, users can no longer book events, which do not have a ‘reserve’ button, by directly calling the API.
- When events have no base cost, but include costs in custom field sections, these events are now also being charged appropriately.
- Homepage banner content that is configure at client level, the link to a suppressed services are now passing through to the correct content.
- For portal Admin users, they will no longer be shown an error message when attempting to edit a tenancy
App
- For Apple users, after booking an event, app users will now be able to save the event successfully into their iOS native calendar.
- For offers on the app homepage feature carousel, the expiry date was displaying as +1 day, despite displaying correctly in the list view and ending when set. This has been resolved so that all views show the correct expiry date for offers.
- On iOS devices, when users were re-registering to a tenancy, they were viewing the wrong message wording under the ‘Duplicate Account’ header.
- On iOS devices, external links emails will fall back to the device native mailto:link if the device-preferred internal mail client fails.
