What is the Dashboard?
When you load the Host Building Admin portal the Dashboard is your landing page. At any time, you can navigate back to this page from the menu fixed to the left side of the page.
The dashboard is used to visualize the key performance indicators and other strategic data of an organization at a glance. The data and reports are automatically updated based on user activity in the app. Building admins see data for only the building they are logged into. Client admins see the data for all buildings in that portfolio.
Refining the Data
When you first log in, the information presented is shown for the lifetime of the building for all tenants.
The information in any report (excluding the "engagement snapshot" section) can be restricted only show information for a specific period or a particular tenant(s), you can do so via the filter found at the top of the page. The filter remains static at the top of the page for easy use. Once you have defined the tenancy (ies) and/or date range you would like to view it will take a few seconds for the graphs to refresh. You can force a report to refresh by clicking into the cog icon for that report and adjusting any of the display settings.
Use the 'cog icon' to adjust how the data on a report is displayed. |
A CSV file of the raw data used to populate the graphs can be download from each report by clicking the 'download icon'. |
For several of the reports, you are able to adjust which method is used to count the data. Click the Cog Icon > Count By to switch between Total, Additive and Cumulative counts. By default, the data show on total count when first loaded.
- Total data shows a running total of all time, including prior to the selected period.
- Additive data shows the count for each period with the selected timeframe.
- Cumulative data show the running total for only the selected period.
For example, if the following data set was to be reported for March and April only, the numbers in bold are the results that would be shown.

When viewing line graphs of pie charts, hover over each line to see which data it represents. Graphs which display as a line graph can be changed to a bar graph. By changing the Chart Type to Bar you can click a tenant/ building to remove it from the graph. If turned off, the name is shown with a strikethrough until clicked again and turned on. The same can be done with pie charts.
