We’ve been working to make Host Building better! Here’s the new and improved features, integration updates and resolved bugs you’ll find in this release.
Reporting
NEW Reports
Within the Portal, Building and Client Admins can download a csv report of the event discounts and promo codes usage. These reports display the order that was associated with the discount/promo code, the order value before the discount, and the total after the discount.
Spaces
IMPROVED Search and filter
The Spaces search filter has been improved so that when an app user proceeds to the booking page from a filter search, the booking form is automatically populated with the criteria which was used for that search. The fields which are pre-populated for the app user are: Booking date, booking start time, booking duration, and capacity/ attendees.
IMPROVED Portfolio shared spaces
If a space has been shared to a building, admins for the secondary building now can enter bookings on behalf of app users from their site. Admins from the building where the space originated retain the ability to enter bookings for app users from their site. Building admins from the building where a space was created in can edit ALL bookings, regardless of the app user’s building.
IMPROVED All Spaces Design
Design of the list view for all spaces available to book in a building has been updated.

Payment Screen
IMPROVED Experience
A new streamlined payment experience has been designed. This allows app users to easier add and set a preferred payment method during the checkout process. In this release the new design was rolled out for the Events and Food & Beverage features on iOS. Android will be updated in later releases
Other Improvements
- Food & Beverage - Admin portal users are now able to choose if they want to hide the Vendor Name so app users will not be able to see the vendor's name on the banner image of the All Menus vendor list
- Homepage carousel images will load in the background to ensure that when an app user scrolls through the content, they will not see missing images. This improvement is for Android only.
- My Building > Directory, updated design to contact cards.
Resolved Bugs
- If an app has tiles with suppressed content, where only one category of information is being shown, in the top right corner of the screen app uses will see with brands icon logo. On iOS these tiles (events, services, and news type) had incorrectly been showing the filter. The filter is still shown for tiles with multiple categories of content being directed to it.
- In Food and Beverage tiles, delivery times where not showing in chronological order
- iOS App User selections were not being remembered in the HID settings menu.
- Resolved an issue on Android that was causing a gap at the bottom of images in the newsfeed.
- Resolved an issue on Android that result the keyboard covering the text input field on some smaller device screens.
