Frequently Asked Question when using Stripe with Host Building 

Can I onboard a vendor using the master account for testing?

No. For anti-fraud reasons, Stripe does not allow a master account to route money to itself. You will need to create another account to act as the vendor.

What are the minimum/maximum transaction amounts?

What fees do Stripe charge?

This varies from region to region. There are no further charges beyond the listed charges from Stripe and CBRE does not take any commissions from the transactions. Fees are automatically withheld from the funds disbursed to the Vendors by Stripe.

Does the Master Account or Vendor require an Internet Merchant Facility or similar?

No. Stripe performs this role. The Master Account requires no further accounts and the Vendor requires a normal bank account into which Stripe can disburse funds.
